What is Zeni Bill Pay?

Zeni Bill Pay is a free accounts payable tool built directly into your Zeni dashboard. It lets you upload invoices, have AI extract the bill details automatically, route payments through custom approval workflows, and pay vendors via ACH — including same-day ACH and international payments.

You can also email invoices directly to your dashboard to automatically create a draft bill without logging in.

Who can use Bill Pay?

All Zeni users can view the Bills section of the dashboard. Only users with the appropriate role will receive approval notifications. Admins configure approval permissions and amount limits during setup.

How it works

  1. Upload or email your invoice — Drop an invoice into the dashboard or email it to [your specified email]@ap.zeni.ai. Zeni's AI will auto-fill the bill details.
  2. Review and confirm — Check the auto-populated fields: vendor, amount, due date, and GL category. Make any corrections needed.
  3. Submit for approval — Send the bill through your configured approval workflow. Approvers are notified automatically.
  4. Approve and schedule — Once approved, the bill is scheduled for payment on the chosen date.
  5. Payment is sent — Zeni sends the payment via your selected method. Track status in the Bills tab.

Payment types

  • Standard ACH: 1–3 business days. Cutoff: 3:00 PM ET.
  • Same-Day ACH: Same business day*. Cutoff: 10:00 AM ET.
  • International: Varies by country. Zeni handles currency conversion automatically.
Note: *Same-day settlement depends on the receiving bank's processing policies. Zeni cannot guarantee same-day posting to the recipient's account.
