Navigating your Zeni Dashboard

A guide to the Zeni dashboard — the home screen, left navigation, summary cards, and Settings.

Home screen

When you log into app.zeni.ai, you land on your Zeni home screen. This gives you a snapshot of your company’s financial health at a glance — including recent transactions, pending approvals, and key metrics like cash balance, burn rate, and runway.

What you see on the home screen depends on your role. Admins see a full financial overview; employees see a summary focused on their own activity.

Left navigation

The left navigation is how you move between sections of the platform:

  • Home — Your dashboard overview and summary cards
  • Transactions — All imported transactions across connected accounts
  • Bills — Bill Pay inbox, approval queue, and payment history
  • Reimbursements — Expense submissions, approvals, and payment history
  • Checking — Your Zeni Business Checking accounts (if enabled)
  • Cards — Card management and transaction history (if enabled)
  • Treasury — Treasury portfolio and yield settings (if enabled)
  • Reports — P&L, balance sheet, burn, runway, and custom reports
  • Vendors — Vendor directory and 1099 management
  • Settings — Users, connected accounts, integrations, and account details

Note: Sections you don’t have access to based on your role, or products not yet enabled for your account, may be hidden from the navigation.

Dashboard cards

The home screen cards give you quick visibility into key activity:

  • Cash balance — Total across all connected accounts
  • Burn rate — Average monthly spend over the past 90 days
  • Runway — Estimated months of runway based on current burn and cash
  • Pending approvals — Bills or reimbursements awaiting your action
  • Recent transactions — Latest activity across connected accounts

Click into any card to go directly to the relevant section.

Settings

Access Settings from the bottom of the left navigation. From here you can manage users, update your company details, connect bank accounts, configure integrations, and adjust notification preferences.

Note: Most settings are Admin-only. If you need to change something and don’t have access, reach out to your company’s Zeni Admin.
