Activating cards
- Open Cards — Log in to app.zeni.ai, click Cards in the left navigation, then click to enable cards.
- Complete verification — Submit documents for individual and business identity verification.
- Link your checking account — Connect your preferred checking account as the funding source for card payments.
- Add your first card — Once verified, click Add New Card to issue your first card.
Verification requirements
- Individual: Government-issued photo ID (driver's license or passport)
- Business: Business formation documents (Articles of Incorporation, EIN letter, etc.)
Issuing cards to team members
You can issue multiple cards at once from the card issuance screen. For each card:
- Select the team member the card is for
- Choose virtual card, physical card, or both
- Set a spending limit
- Choose a limit reset period (monthly, weekly, etc.)
Note: To view card details like card number, CVV, and expiration, the cardholder must verify their identity via phone number. This is a security requirement.
Setting spending limits
Each card has its own spending limit and reset schedule. Limits can be set during card issuance or updated at any time from the card details view. When a card reaches its limit, transactions are declined until the limit resets or is updated by an admin.
